Welcome to Wonderland, Alice

Hello there Alice,

    This blog will hopefully be full of short stories, descriptions, prompt answers, and full stories that I've written. I've been wanting to make a blog to share my writing for a while, but wasn't sure how to start or if my writing was good enough. But by posting things on here I am hoping to grow as a writer.

   The name of this blog, "We're All Mad Here", is obviously based off of Alice in Wonderland, or rather the Cheshire Cat. This story is all sorts of crazy nonsense that in a way makes perfect sense. I've always been fascinated and sort of scared of Lewis Carol's book...but it the one that, if I had never read it, would be a loss on my part.

So let my share a little bit about me:

I have been writing since as long as I can remember. It's been a way to escape along with reading. I like to read/ write mostly fictional stories ( I love coming up with places and people). Fiction, to me, is a way to take all the craziness in the world and put it into a format where I can cope with it. It's a way to change things that I normally would have no control over. I love to shed my own skin and change into something or someone different; be someone else for a short time before returning to a world that is so boring at times.

Books I have read: The Chronicles of Narnia, the Harry Potter series, Divergent, The Hobbit, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Percy Jackson Series, and many others.

              I hope you all enjoy my writings.
